In this episode Sid Calderbank joins us, Sid has been collecting and researching the songs, stories and poems of old Lancashire for over 40 years, interpreting them for modern day audiences and performing them at folk, arts and literary festivals anywhere from Aberdeen to Dartmoor. Sid treats us to some great stories and recites some ancient Lancashire texts as well as tells us how the dialects have developed all over the county.
